Mission Statement

     We, the Eucharistic community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Dunmore, are called to manifest the leadership, love, and service of Jesus Christ. 

     In union with the Holy Father, and under the leadership of our Diocesan Bishop, We are called to proclaim the salvation of our loving Lord through our participation in His Word, Worship, Service and Community. With the Blessed Virgin Mary as our Model, we seek to share our Baptismal gifts to build His Kingdom.

     We recognize that as a Parish Faith Community of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, that our purpose is to accept and develop our call, through a servant style of leadership. To evangelize others with zeal and joy through the witness of our life in Word, Worship and a Service that builds up our Community.

Mass Schedule:

Monday thru Wednesday - 7:00 am.

Weekend Mass Schedule:

Saturday's - 4:00 & 5:30 pm
Sunday's - 7:00, 9:30 & 11:30 am and 5:00 pm

Confession Schedule:

Saturday 3:15 to 3:45 pm & 5:00 to 5:20 pm

Parish Community/Group Rosary: 

Tuesday rosary will resume Tuesday, April 3, 2018.

Our Lady of Mt Carmel Cash Raffle:

$10,000 - 1st prize; $3,000 - 2nd prize; $1,000 - 3rd prize; $500 each 4th & 5th prizes. Call the rectory 570-346-7429 for tickets. The Raffle drawning will be held on Palm Sunday, March 25 at the 11:30 am Mass. Good luck to all.

Lenten Schedule:

Weekdays: 7 am & on Fridays, 5:30 pm.
Stations of the Cross: Fridays, 12:00 (with St. Mary's School) and after the 5:30 pm Mass.
Confessions:  Palm Sunday, 3 pm. St. Mary's, Monday March 26 St. Eulalia's, 7:00 pm & Wednesday March 28th St. Catherine's.

Easter Egg Hunt: 

Saturday, March 31st, 10:00 am, church grounds. Anyone wishing to help stuff egg are to report to the School Auditorium on Friday March 30th at 10:00 am.

Road To Resurrection:

St. Peter's Cathedral, March 22nd, 7:00 pm.

Living Stations:

Palm Sunday, March 25th 8:00 pm, presented by the Dunmore Catholic High School Youth Group.
